Superlatives: good - better - best!
A superlative is a comparative adjective that goes the farthest!
To show that one item is the superlative, that is the greatest within a set group, add
–est
to
an adjective of one or two syllables and use “
most
” for adjectives of three or more syllables.
Also, use “
the
” in the comparison since the item’s superiority makes it a specific noun.
It is
the
long
est
book (that we have read).
It is
the most
complicated formula (that we will learn).
tall, taller, tallest
He is the tallest person in the room.
short, shorter, shortest
I am the shortest person in the room.
good/better/best
bad/worse/worst
I think lentils are good, and beef is better, but
lamb is best!
Drought is bad, floods are worse and fire is
worst of all.

Mathematics: Multiplying Fractions, and Intro. to Decimals.
How would we multiply 3/6 by 6/12?
1.)
Simplify the fractions if not in lowest terms.
2.) Multiply the numerators of the fractions to get the new numerator.
3.)

4.)
Simplify the resulting fraction if possible.
Let’s solve
4/8 * 4/16 = x
Now solve
3/4 * 66/12 = x
